Each passenger (even a minor one) can introduce one or several articles like part of his "franchise", without paying taxes, whenever you fulfill the following:

• If you enter to the country by highway, you will be able to introduce one or several articles, by a total value of up to 75 dollars.
  
  
• If you enter to the country by air or by water you will be able to introduce one or several articles up to a total value of up to 300 dollars.
  

In order to verify the value of the merchandise that comprise your franchise, the passengers will have to bring with themselves some of the following documents and to present/display them to the authority, when required:

• The bill
• The receipt, or
• Any other document that expresses the commercial value of the merchandise.

When two or more members of the same family, arrive simultaneously at national territory and in the same kind of transport, they can accumulate their franchises. This means that they will be able to bring one or more merchandises, by a total value which does not exceeds the sum of the franchise of each one.

It is considered that the father, the mother and children are part of the same family.
